FAQ

The answers venues ask for most.

Short and to the point, before you start. If something's missing, support is one message away.

Getting started

What is Dinnerhere?

A service to create your venue's digital menu, publish it with a QR code and update it whenever you like, from a computer or a phone.

Do guests need to install an app?

No. They point their camera at the QR code and the menu opens in their phone's browser.

How long does it take to get started?

As long as it takes to add your dishes. With quick add or a CSV import you load a whole menu at once, then pick its look and print the QR code.

Can I upload the menu I already have?

Yes, from a CSV file, even one exported from Excel or Google Sheets: match the columns, check the preview and confirm. For a few dishes there's quick add, several items on one screen.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial, no card needed.

The menu

If I change a price, do guests see it right away?

Yes: dishes, prices and availability update on the public menu at once. Changes to the look stay in draft until you publish them.

How do I flag a dish that's run out?

Mark it unavailable with one tap: it stays on the menu, shown as sold out, until you turn it back on.

How do I show allergens?

For every dish you mark the 14 allergens of EU Regulation 1169/2011 and any traces. The menu shows them with clear icons and a legend.

Which languages can the menu be in?

Italian, English and Bulgarian. Write the menu in your language and add translations: each guest reads it in theirs.

Can the menu match my venue's style?

Yes: ready-made themes, colors, fonts, logo and cover, and nine styles for categories, from a printed menu to a chalkboard.

QR codes

If I change the menu, do I have to reprint the QR code?

No. The QR code stays the same: you can edit the menu or link it to another one, and the printed code keeps working.

Can I have different QR codes for tables or areas?

Yes: create a QR code for each table, room, window or event and choose which menu each one opens. Your stats also show which QR code visits come from.

What format do I download the QR code in?

High-resolution PNG, or vector SVG for the print shop. Or print a table card with the table's name straight away.

Team and venues

Can my staff work on the menu?

Yes, on the Pro plan: invite team members by email and choose who can manage menus, venues and settings.

I have several venues: do I need several accounts?

No. One account manages several venues, each with its own menus, QR codes and public page.

Can I see how many people open the menu?

Yes: visits, devices, languages and the QR codes they came from, plus the dishes guests like most. Without collecting IP addresses or guest profiles.

Plans and pricing

How much does it cost?

Plans go from Base, for one venue, to Pro, for several venues and a team. Groups and chains get a tailored plan.
